What will they think of next? I was just checking my gmail, and there was an ad for the Aviva Fishin’ Buddy Remote Control Fishing Boat, so obviously I clicked it to see what it was. Apparently our country and our children have become so lazy that now even fishing for sunfish is too much work, so what’s the solution? Well just hook a line up to a remote controlled boat sit in a comfy chair and watch those panfish come motoring in to you!
The idea is neat, but the concept seems a little flawed. First they are proud to say that “it catches fish up to 2 lbs”, but as we all know fishing with a worm and bobber doesn’t always keep those trophy bass off your line. I can just see it now, “Hey dad I have a nibble” “well bring it in dad says”, “I can’t it just sank faster than the titanic!” I am just waiting for the day I see a dead bass attached to a remote controlled boat on cedar lake…
They say that necessity is the mother of invention, but I just don’t see the need to catch sunnies with a remote controlled boat, maybe I am wrong.
